PROCESS

Like the three points on the spear of a Trident,  a successful wealth management approach should be centered around three key principles.

Planning. Investing. Preserving.

PLANNING

Every successful result begins with a well thought out plan, where direction is imperative.  This is especially true when it comes to your financial well being.  Where do you want to go, what are you looking to accomplish, how are you going to get there?  A financial plan should drive the investment philosophy.  The sooner you start planning, the better.  However, it is never too late to start mapping out your financial future and customizing a strategy and solution that is as unique as your situation.

"Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago."

INVESTING

Trident is an independent registered investment advisory firm, not incentivized by commissions and are free to select the best investments for clients.  This is accomplished by helping clients navigate the complicated world of investments to develop customized portfolios and investment solutions tailored to their goals and risk tolerance.  Paying close attention to risk and focusing on companies and investments with strong fundamentals is a solid approach that has proven to build wealth over the long term.

“The best way to measure your investing success is not by whether you’re beating the market but by whether you’ve put in place a financial plan and a behavioral discipline that are likely to get you where you want to go.”

- Benjamin Graham

PRESERVING

Preserving wealth is often more challenging than building it.  Once you reach the top of the mountain you still have to safely navigate your way back down.  Life is bound to be filled with unexpected and unplanned events.  We cannot change what is out of our control but we can take action to protect against unknown risks.  Whether your goal is grow your wealth, preserve your assets in retirement or pass them on to future generations, it is important to develop sustainable strategies to make your plan successful.  Regularly reviewing portfolios and financial plans is a very important part of this process.

"It's not how much money you make, but how much money you keep, how hard it works for you, and how many generations you keep it for."

- Robert Kiyosaki
